AUTUMN COUPLETS

When autumn comes and leaves start crunching,
candy apples are great for munching.

Autumn kicked hot summer out
and scattered color all about.

Autumn leaves make me smile;
rake 'em up in a pile.

I love the multicolored leaves of fall;
their vivid hues have power to enthrall.

I carved a pumpkin upside down,
so now he wears a gloomy frown.

Autumn prances in with multicolored style,
as sprightly as the charm of a pumpkin's smile.

Something happened to all my trees --
they were unclothed by an autumn breeze.

Autumn with her winning ways
has come to liven up my days.
